Helping a love of learning bloom
As of 2018, our two school gardens and outdoor classroom are up and running!
Used in partnership with our co-located school, P226, the gardens offer our school community the space to study the natural sciences in action or bring every day learning outside.
Under the guidance and green thumb of Mr. Reddick, students explore the Grow-to-Learn curriculum to learn about the plant life cycle, growing edible gardens, and the bird and bug ecosystems of our neighborhood!
The garden is available as an outdoor classroom for all classes, and is regularly used as part of our After All afterschool program.

Grow Our Garden!
Consider donating to help our school gardens bloom!
All contributions go directly to buying seeds to be planted, gloves for our student “green thumbs”, and books for our outdoor library.
Have a green thumb? We also regularly welcome volunteers for seasonal clean-ups, builds, and lessons working directly with our students outside.
